Attenborough Arts at Home Brand Identity Design
The pandemic hindered so many projects throughout the course of 2020, but for the University of Leicester’s Attenborough Arts Centre it gave them an opportunity to develop a new one. With the country locked indoors and unable to attend creative classes and workshops, they came up with Attenborough Arts at Home, whereby customers can order craft kits to do at home.
Although part of the Attenborough Arts family, Attenborough Arts at Home is a separate entity, and so needed its own identity. We delivered brand strategy sessions with their team to understand their target audience, their message, their ambitions and their true purpose.
Brand Identity Solution
With a detailed picture of the brand, we set to work developing an identity that suited it. The logo includes an icon combining a smile and a house, to represent art’s positive impact on mental wellbeing, and of course the fact that it’s done under your own roof. To complete the identity, we worked with local duo Pickle Illustration to produce accompanying illustrations and patterns to adorn the kit packaging as well as for use in communications.
